For me, 2015 began by bringing projects with clients who were motivated and excited to grow their business. This was the best part of 2015. On the flip side, late 2015 revealed a disease and a passing for two of my dearest family members. And because of this, I am fortunate to have become involved in an amazing personal and spiritual development program. I think that we all get to this point at one time or another – and my time for this is now.
In the world around us, our world news from 2015 shows us that we are in an age of volatility and extremism. This is undoubtedly having a profound impact on many of us; whether it be economic downturns, political leadership changes, or international security events.
So let us allow the learning and growth from 2015 to now help us form new perspectives for 2016.
This year-end is a great time for three simple reflection points on what 2015 has brought us:
• What we have learned,
• What our greatest achievements were, and
• What went on that did not serve us well.
This year-end is also a great time for three simple reflection points to set us up for 2016:
• Defining our bigger, more important goals,
• Deciding what to take on, and deciding what to let go that will give us the time and space to accomplish what we take on, and
• Identifying what help we may need to make 2016 the best year ever.
During the holidays, as we spend time celebrating with loved ones, take some meaningful reflection time to deliberately ask the questions of where we have been and where we are going. This can be useful as we look toward 2016 as being the best year EVER.
I wish you, your colleagues and your families a wonderful holiday season and the very best for 2016.
This year, we are celebrating the holidays by giving you our best wishes in this Newsletter. We have also elected to provide a donation inspired by the Calgary Herald Christmas Fund 2015, directly to one of their very worthy recipient organizations. Thank you to the Calgary Herald for helping to support those in need at this time of year!
